My first EQ 7 Quilt!! Stars and Stripes Allover

I spent about 4 hours this morning creating my first quilt with EQ 7.  I have had another quilt design software for about 4 years and decided that I should try EQ 7.  I only had to contact tech support one time!!

My quilt is inspired by a quilt called Stars Galore by Sally Murray which is published in the Quilts on American Barns book by Eleanor Burns.

I have purchased fabric, now the question will be when to add it to the every growing list of projects!!!

Jim and I, mostly Jim have been working quite a bit in our yard this spring.

We added a tree and then added some plants we got from Jim's mom to the raised bed.

  

Our tomatoes are in their pots.  We will have cherry tomatoes and big tomatoes coming out of our ears!!

Jim's favorite place in the yard is our pond.

Happy 22nd Wedding Anniversary to us!!!

My DH Jim and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last night by going out to dinner and then  we visited the Longest Covered Bridge in the United States, it is located in Ashtabula, Ohio.

SMOLEN-GULF BRIDGE

The bridge is located on State Road (County Road #25) in Plymouth and Ashtabula Townships and was dedicated on August 26, 2008.  The bridge is the longest covered bridge in the United States at 613 feet.

It boasts a clear width of 30’ and a clear height of 14’6”. It stands 93’ above the Ashtabula River.
